Didn’t think 80s Bollywood had such a gripping crime drama amidst all the masala it used to churn out.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra had a great directorial debut with a solid screenplay. And Binod Pradhan’s Cinematography is a masterpiece creating a somber and ominous atmosphere. It was shot with a sense of realism, as we can feel the chaos and energy of the bustling Mumbai city.
Dialogues and some of the performances were a little over the top, loved Jackie Shroff and Nana Patekar though.
