Even though Blood Tide was filmed by beautiful Grecian waters and has an awesome sounding plot (an Ancient Greek Demon that eats on virgins is let loose by a treasure hunter) there really isn’t much here. It primarily functions as a showcase for Deborah Shelton’s incredible beauty and James Earl Jones’s boundless charisma because the Ancient Greek Demon stuff isn’t nearly as cool as it sounds (save for maybe the last twenty minutes.)
Weirdly reminded me of a worse version of the 1993 islandbound nunsploitation horror Dark Waters.
