Alien 40th Anniversary Shorts, 4/6
The lack of setup in terms of plot or characters didn't help sell me on the whole thing, especially when no one says anything other than freaking out. All feels like previously trodden ground with nothing particularly original or interesting happening. Other than the usual Alien iconography, it was more or less just running through corridors. The twist at the end just didn't work for me because there was little setup, no investment, and I wasn't expecting any of them to survive anyway. Overall, kinda boring and unmemorable.
