2nd rewatch of this one, this is such an intricate story, not your normal “sheriff vs bad guys “ or “rob a bank or train” it’s a revenge story of a half blood native american, a prison break story, a sad poisonous love story in the bayou. it scratches all the right itches for me, and that’s why i’m moving it to the top 4 for now

what a story, now i am biased because my great grandpa helped with the stunts in louisiana for this movie back in the day. regardless, this is an easy addition to my favorite western lists. the music, scenery, script, and acting were all perfect for me.
