When successful dating app creator Alana hesitantly gets engaged, she returns to her hometown in Florida to deliver the news to her dad. Upon returning home, she crosses paths with her former flame, Kai, and finds herself falling in love with the fun and adventurous lifestyle tied to her community. As Alana and Kai work together to help her dad restore his declining property, Alana finds herself conflicted as to whether or not her current way of living makes her happier than the home and community that she always knew and loved.

the beginning reminded me of the beginning of teen beach movie 2 when they were on the beach talking about their future and college … like they did the same exact thing in that movie
the dad is kinda fine as fuck … the facial hair stubble combined with his smile and his voice 🤤…. if his hair was more my type he would be more than kinda
if i were alana i would’ve gone RIGHT tf back to kai the moment i saw him he’s rly cute and i don’t find the golf dude attractive at all…
anyways close to the ending of the middle i got so bored and i skipped ahead like 20 min
