first of all, the cinematography is amazing. many beautiful shots. this movie also has that forrest gump charm that i love, its happy, joyful, sad, and also really interesting. the political aspects were also very insightful, and i really enjoyed those parts of the movie. one turnoff for me was the army part, more specifically at the mountain. it just looks like cgi, and that looks really bad. other than that, i think this movie has been faithful to forrest gump.
