I really enjoyed Tiya Sirkar in The Good Place so when I saw that she had her own film on Netflix I thought I would give it a watch. Now I love films about journalism and when the film began it gave me heavy Nightcrawler vibes so I thought I had found something great, but sadly that quickly surpassed.
The film isn’t terrible at all, I ended up enjoying it quite a bit, and it wasn’t as predictable as these sort of films tend to be. Most of the characters were sadly kind of flat and there were a few lose ends that needed tying up by the end of the film film that just left me with a couple of unanswered questions.
Overall I thought the film started out with a lot of potential, but sadly the enjoyability slowly declined from there. Not the worst, but certaintly not the best either.
