A nicely done, old-school action/chase movie, with Dennis Hopper in the main role of the historical figure, Mad Dog Morgan, or Daniel Morgan or one of his many many names. A tasteful and somewhat historically accurate representation of the story of Morgan, an Australian outlaw. Being an accurate movie, the action is slow, and almost always ends after 1 or 2 shots. Dennis Hopper is great in this, although not as maniac and sadistic as the people described Morgan. The creeping paranoia paired with a great sense of hope in the people and trying to trust them makes an interesting duality in Morgans character. Overall, good movie, a bit slow, but not slow enough to discredit the historical nature of the movie
