The long distance relationship and the idea that it can withstand the future is a very specific kind of youthful defiance that I honestly don’t wish to ever refute to someone should they say that they are in one. The intricacies of Sunrise/Sunset explore this with a cozy feel that does inject that kind of sentimentality into it. The way New York is shot here does just make it feel like a romance capital of the world
