The Unjust taught me that people are bad. It also taught me that CAPTAIN CHOI YOU SHOULD'VE DONE YOUR GODDAMNED JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE. Seriously tho, it's treachery after treachery after treachery. Everyone has their own agenda, no one's a "good guy" which I quite liked actually. It adds to the complexity of the story which we don't get often with American cop thrillers. Downside(s) include female characters reduced to being mentally incompetent, or escorts, or pregnant naggers; could be a bit hard to follow at times although the outcome was quite predictable; one might feel there was too much going on one after another. It pulls through quite all right though with absolutely great actors on the wheel. It's also surprisingly very funny when it wants to be. To sum up, I liked it. It's not a terrible movie, but there are so many other better options if you're looking into satisfying your South Korean thriller craving.
