I did thoroughly enjoy this documentary & I found it very engrossing. I love this universe so much & it’s really lovely to see it behind the scenes more & to hear peoples’ thoughts & feelings who worked on it & brought this masterful series to life!
I wished they showed a bit more behind the scenes footage showing how puppets worked or how some scenes were done, but maybe that’s just me being picky & having this series as a special interest. I always want to see & hear more!
It also made me a bit annoyed how there was a continued message of how amazing puppetry is & how sacred this show is, then Netflix goes ahead & cancels AOR after one season & ends it w/unanswered questions. Puppetry IS amazing & the universe of The Dark Crystal DOES deserve to be created & explored thoroughly! So why express all that & then it’s canceled? But, again, maybe I am just being picky or silly on that part.
Overall, I really enjoyed this documentary & I’m glad it exists! It was cool to learn & see more. I really love seeing the puppets behind the scenes, especially Brea! I love her immensely!
