I made plans to watch this with my mom the moment I found out it was getting a Netflix release, & when we did watch it, I forgot to log it until now, oops.

I originally was going to see it at SXSW but then corona happened and well.. that wasn’t a thing anymore. Regardless it was such a lovely experience, an iconic figure being beautifully represented and getting to tell their own story the way it deserved to be told.

Who knew that a Netflix documentary about a majestic, cape-wearing asexual non-binary astrologist would be one of the sweetest and most sentimental things I would see this year? I had no knowledge of Mercado before running across this in my Recommended for You, but I'm glad I gave this a shot.
