A lot better than I was expecting, but still extremely generic and predictable. It starts to find its voice near the end of the movie, but it is too little too late. I think the best part of this film, aside from Courtney B. Vance's performance, is actually Prentice Penny's direction. He clearly has a lot of talent and style, shown especially by the quite great soundtrack that moves throughout the film, and I think if he is given a less predictable and generic story, he could really do something.
