I’m strapping up (oo-er) and I’m going to hunt down every person who gave this anything other than 2 stars (4 on IMDb); leading to the IMDb score of 6.1.
Johnny Strong should have had a better career and he is the films 1 redeeming quality.
That being said, the film is very mediocre and felt like it was written by a 16yo lad who loves guns. Nothing new or inventive and run of the mill, one dimensional characters and lacklustre visuals and cinematography. Some of the action sequences are fairly good with Strong’s tactical training coming in to make a real difference; a trait that can break how good an action sequence comes across.
I did half enjoy it but that’s more to do with not wanting anything in the slightest bit taxing, due to watching a lot of high brow content (trying to finish IMDb’s Top 250).
6.1 for this is punching!
