I have to watch this every few years just to make sure I didn’t dream it up because how silly and insane this lil short was, I wish they would have fun like this again

now where was this gem of a film during the halloween season because this one would have been perfect for my horror marathon even if it wasn’t a full length film and was only about 7 minutes long it was still a pretty decently made one and you don’t usually see a mickey mouse film in this horror atmosphere so it was nice to see as someone who is a huge fanatic of anything horror related and after reading about the controversy surrounding this film it just made me love it even more because the reasoning in my opinion was pretty stupid because you’re telling me this film wasn’t shown ever again because disney didn’t like the idea of a “evil mickey” when i thought his design was pretty grim but not too much over the top but one i would assume frighten many children when this was first released back in 1995 but if i were around during that time i would have enjoyed this one also read that they didn’t like the comedic death of the professor that we see when he manages to strap mickey down to this chair and have him and this creature both swap brains which when looking at this “death” it wasn’t even a terrible one or one that would traumatize a child it’s just him being turned into a pile of bones but times back then were a bit different you could say 🤷♂️
