The rumors are true, I am once again continuing to watch One Piece. After watching half of the second Live Action Season and seeing two of the greatest things One Piece has to offer (Buggy the Clown and Little Garden) I stopped and have decided to await finishing the season (because Winter wants to watch it too) and have returned to the Anime where I left off... which was at the start of Wano.
I felt as though I had made a dent in Wano when I first fell off the One Piece Wagon, but in re-finding my spot, I realized that was not the case... And at the time of this log, I have now made it to the end of Act Two. Which does sound like a lot! Though from what I can gather, Act 3 is longer than both Act 1 and 2 combined (because that's how acts work for some reason in One Piece)
But you know what, unlike with my watch-through of Dressrosa, I am still very excited to see what Wano has to offer at this point! It took a little while but I really do love the way this arc is coming together, it truly feels like there are stakes building. Post-Time Skip One Piece at its finest. It is also the first massive saga in One Piece that is fully new to me, as when I was first following One Piece in my youth, I had dropped off while the Dressrosa saga was still serializing, and now Whole Cake Island through Wano has been super fun. The anime itself has also taken on a refreshing new style as these big arcs have advanced that makes me feel like I'm watching something truly refreshing and it feels great to be jazzed about One Piece again.
One thing I love doing with watching long stretches of One Piece is also checking out specials and films I had never seen between arcs, or just going back and watching old ones to change up the vibes, see characters at different points in their arcs, or just bottle adventures like the series used to indulge in more, and I think i'm going to start venturing into some of the more weird ones from the Early Days as a treat.
