Felt like revisiting this after… 14 years…
But man so much of the online pop culture landscape has changed. A movie with this level of quality was kinda revolutionary back then, and now we have so many creators that can replicate this style too.
Everyone that’s involved are in completely different directions with their careers (still crazy to believe that Arden Cho now plays the main lead in K-Pop Demon Hunters).
In terms of the film itself, it definitely holds up pretty well. After watching The Naked Gun films for the first time, the humour is almost the same as that (except with some old school YouTube texture to it).
I’m honestly surprised that Ryan Higa & Wong Fu Productions never did a sequel (also need Ian to reprise his iconic role as Pervert).
