(Writing this review hours after the film ends)
One of the melodramas of silent cinema that attracted me. Lillian Gish is mesmerizing, seeing her in the habits of nuns was one of the most heavenly experiences I could have from a movie, she is easily on her way to becoming one of my favorites. Ronald Colman, I never saw anything from him and I'm glad this is my first approach to his career. The two were so convincing in their roles as lovers that I just screamed when they saw each other again.
Unfortunately it is unnecessarily long, the plot I think could be developed in a little less time, but it is fixed with its good shots and its incredible acting.
