i do think it lost the plot past the hour mark but oh well
so ive seen the quick and the dead and that was the most cunty ridiculous bullshit ive seen in my life its laughable but GOD i really enjoyed this. apparently its abt an actual trans man but in this rather than being called "Joe" she is "Jo" so i was thinking theyd lean more into this butch sorta thing but they just didnt??? she flinches at any form of intimacy with a women which lowkey sucked cuz like its 1993 theres been so much good queer media like funeral parade of roses or la religieuse that maybe it really is american hollywood with such a fear of lgbtq people
anyways i really fucking loved this film jos character is so multidimensional and faced with misogyny with other boys... god im so deprived of butch cowboys that genuinely i will rewatch this over and over again even though there was no actual lesbianism
the day an old west lesbian movie of butchfemme or butchbutch my life will be complete and i will die happy.
also i wasnt expecting her to hook up with tinman
