While it was envisioned as a feature length special, Bender's Big Score still just kind of feels like 3 generic episodes. The animation is as lazy as it normally is, the voice acting is just okay (Sagal is a terrible crier), and the story is working real hard to scramble every time line and call everything into question. I do have to give it credit for trying to be a straight up comedy and not do any of that manipulative bullshit the series became known for.
