A great film! Amazing that a 1939 film could be in color, it really added a lot to this film. This film showed the joy and triumphs and the hardships and challenges that the great frontier men and women of this great country faced. At the end when the colonial flag was being raised and the guy said “this is the flag we fought for” gave me the chills. This film showed that the frontier men and women fought and sacrificed for our freedom. The only thing I wish is that the film slowed down and focused on more development. But overall a great film. A very underrated film.
