Nothing fantastic but it’s the final act that earns the extra star, turning from dumb brainless fighting romp into a fairly well planned out plan to catch the boss of a high stakes underground fight club.
The acting is fairly questionable at times and there are some silly, cliched characters and moments. There is a distinct lack of the fights at the club that the trailer seemed to hint at, too.
All in all, it is a typical British attempt at trying to insert itself into the action genre. Legendary Brit Phil Davis has a minor role and 5 minutes in there is a track by Icelandic band KALEO (a favourite of mine).
