Overhated
I'm not a huge Shawn Mendes fan but I do remember almost every girl having a massive all consuming crush on him in middle school. Contrary to a lot of reviews, I actually liked this. Granted it wasn't amazing but it did highlight his career growth and the way he worked on his voice. This is not to say that female singers don't work hard in their careers but male singers do face the issue of drastic vocal changes due to puberty which usually leads to them having to relearn all over again. And it was just really nice to see the way his singing evolved and the issues he faced during tours and his family dynamic.
