Imo, this is the best Chirstmas movie, for those who haven't seen this work of art yet I urge you to watch right away or can wait till next Chirstmas Eve. Filming a winter movie in summer is crazy asf. Cant believe that in back then the audience felt this movie was too pessimistic and even accused of Communisim propaganda. Thankfully, due to the copyright error in the 70s which made this film is free and can streamed repeatedly, the moive was reborn and warmly welcomed. This film is the first film in one of my 4 favs and it totally deserve it. Capra and Jimmy, combine together, They are the embodiment of American dream in cinema, like usual, at his finest, Jimmy delivered such an emotional performance, especially he just came back from World War 2. Just a plain screenplay but such a meaningful theme is what made this movie to become one of the best: hope and kindness are what people needed. I want to be a man live Geogre Bailey, his life is full of challenges but he never showed any signs of discouragement. I envy what he has, not me but everyman, beautiful, thoughtful, a real soulmate like his wife, amiable children and neighbors who are always grateful for what he had done for them. Its a wonderful life for enjoying this masterpiece!
