One thing about this film is that it tricks you many times into thinking it’s about to go into one direction before just swerving lanes and going to completely different one. Will it be supernatural slasher? Or a backwoods slasher? Or a survival thriller? Or a horror film about hazing? Midway through you sort of get an idea but then towards the very end, the “twist” is so jarring and so very annoying. All the turns it could have taken and that’s what they landed on? I remember being salty about it way back when and I still am.
It’s definitely not as good as I remember it being but that’s alright because I still had some fun. There are a few kills here that’s been engrained in my memory and it just came flooding back as the movie went on.
