Amidst all the edgy '90s dark comedy revolving around the lives of two hitmen over the course of their careers, lies a rather lethargic and melancholic atmosphere that elevates this diet Tarantino flick into something a bit more existential and despondent. The hits clearly takes a toll on these two, yet the offbeat humour pervades every vignette. The camera rarely cuts, instead slowly gliding throughout the environment from one scene to the next in some of the sleekest transitions I've seen in a film. Kinda feels like a sitcom in parts, but overall Jerry and Tom is quite the underrated film, and well worth watching if you like your criminals a little damaged, but a lot funny.
