This is probably Pizzoleo’s best work tbh. This is his best story(however it isn’t that good). This is probably Fritz’s best performance(still not that good). And the editing was better than the last two(again not that good). And man does bro like his dissolve montages. Sound is also kinda janky as well. Doesn’t quite have that crispness to it, feels a bit muddled, like they’re wearing mics under their clothes(which they probably are cause you can hear almost all of their movements). Idk man, the writing is just so generic. It’s so basic there’s really nothing to it. Like there’s an alright message behind it but it’s not like he tried to portray his own message or at least put his own take on it. He just picked the most generic lines of all time from the most generic ‘I tried to make it big but failed’ movies and put it into this film trying to pass it as his own. No originality to it. And there’s a couple random scenes that don’t really mean shit. Also Fritz just isn’t leading man material. You can definitely see that he’s trying his best, and that’s the problem, you can see that he’s trying to act and it’s kind of distracting. He just folds at any emotional climax of a character, he just can’t do it. I think he’d be better in a supporting character role.
