Loved how aware this film was of the character Uday's problems and he did work on it as the film went on. Shefali shah was so, so good again, and so was the rest of the cast. Watched thank god the other day and this, bollywood in her unpredictable storyline era I guess, and I am here for it. Wish Rakul's character had more to it but it still works.

Another mid-entry to the ‘Ayushmann Khurrana Everyman Cinematic Universe.’ I wasn’t particularly moved by the story itself or the rewiring of mentalities of a casual misogynist. I also found the subplot of his best friend, Chaddi to be pointless as its quite apparent that it was abruptly cut from the film in the editing room.

For a film that boosts the dynamic talents of Shefali Shah, Sheeba Chaddha and Ayushmann Khurana, the expectation for a thought-provoking film is obviously high. While the performances were servicable, my major gripe with Doctor G is perhaps its aimless narrative that doesn’t quite demonstrate anything.
