Judy Holliday is just so cute here. Her role as Judy Partridge as a well-meaning woman who finds arguing in favor of the little guy - who is in this case the small shareholder rather than, y’know, the little guy - at shareholder meetings. It’s a story that would not be made today with how the perception of the shareholder is kinda just another guy who screws over the other guys. That’s it. The romance in the film is almost negligible, but leads to some great comedy. The elevator scene alone is hilarious.
