the acting was strange at times. i wonder if this was a tv movie because i cant imagine it being anything else. it had the quality of one with the camera shots and the beginner like acting. the storyline wasnt much better. lots of incest, it was based on a southern novel but gee. i liked abby and ms stevens who both ended up being removed due to racism and homophobia. also adored louis, poor boy got groomed ny his mother. though i couldnt care less for the main twins. i was frustrated with rubys decisions. both felt bad for her due to her family and annoyed with how willy nilly she was with her loyalty to beau. not much else to say.
