so i was on my annual findings of new horror films for me to watch from the 1980s and it was specifically slasher films and came across this one which the plot for it was the main thing that interested me and made me sit and watch and sure it wasn’t anything new or different that we’ve seen be done before in these slashers from back then with it being your standard film where we meet this group of victims who are apart of this therapy group who we’ll eventually see be picked off one by one in the film and i guess supposedly care for as well when that wasn’t the care for me at all because each of the characters in this one were very flat and just were there to serve as kills for this film so none of them had any personality to them especially our ‘main’ and ‘final’ girl of this film who was boring to watch when onscreen and should have died in my opinion because she served absolutely nothing but it’s whatever and now moving onto the kills in this film and how it wasn’t really alot of deaths in this one with it being only 3 people that died with i guess if you count the killer at the end then it being a total of 4 deaths but what i will say that i liked about this one was how the killer in this one took his time with his victims and slowly played around with them until he eventually stabbed them to death with these giant scissors he carried around with him so there’s that one thing i liked but i will say the killer in this one was so painfully obvious from the very beginning with me getting a glimpse at the killers hair from the tiny silhouette we saw of him at the beginning and piecing it together that it was her ex husband who was out to get her and her entire group for them driving her away from him and him being very unpleased by it and so knowing who the killer was didn’t make the reveal for me any bit surprising in the slightest.

American giallo with a fun whodunnit vibe but spins its wheels a bit. Not very tense. Interesting enough and the cast is fun. Wraps up in the right tone. The score is insane and does more harm than good.
