It was such a visually beautiful movie, beside the monster… that they could’ve worked on a bit more.
Sure the symbolism of mental illness and such was done in a clever way but I didn’t really grasp it very well before I thought about it more.
The first half of the movie was so strong and I personally really enjoyed it even if it was kind of slow… then the middle and ending ended up feeling too weak for me to like.
The actors did a really good job and it left me at awe.
