This movie just seemed off to me. Maybe it was Kajal’s acting or just the audio quality, but some parts rubbed me the wrong way. Though the plot was somewhat tolerable, the dialogues were so dry. To be completely honest, I never call a movie predictable, but this one totally was. Maybe if this movie didn’t take itself so seriously, and it was a comedy/drama instead of a drama with bits of comedy, it would’ve been better. I think Aditi Rao Hydari and Dulquer Salmaan acted well and did justice to the script they were given though. Also, this is gonna make me sound snobby, but I loved the camerawork, especially in the beginning sequence. Overall, I think I just had really mixed feelings throughout the movie. Some scenes made me think I would like the movie and others had me feeling like I was wasting my time. 0.5/5
Sidenote: Why did they assume DQ was lesbian because he was wearing a dress?? Is he a hey mamas lesbian???
