These Mae West pictures surely do kinda blend together to an extent, the locations are almost the most distinctive element of them. Sensible chuckles and West is always fun to watch, and she really manages to be consistent here even with the Code being enforced.

The plot is thicker than earlier Mae West movies, but it unfortunately revolves around West trying to change herself for a man. It's still a good movie (thanks to Mae West) but you can really see the effect of the Hay's Code being enforced more so than in Belle of the Nineties. Honestly, I thought these would drop in quality with the code enforcement, but I still think they're pretty enjoyable. There's also definitely some lines I'm surprised were approved. One of the best parts in all of these is Mae West's wonderful scripts.
