As someone who is so enraptured by that particular era of the 60s/70s, a time of change, revolution and transforming music, I knew about Ben Fong-Torres. Through Almost Famous like most music fans of my age. But getting to learn more about him and the Rolling Stone was fascinating.

Fairly standard talking head music doc, but Fong-Torres is such an interesting subject that he makes this easily worth a watch. The joy on his face when he talks to Cameron Crowe, and especially Elton John, is undeniable.
