Was a bit choppy at certain points but had so many great moments. Really ahead of its time, with its takes on colourism.I can understand that Dutch people didn’t like this movie, it has too much of a culture they cannot understand. Also the clear criticism of them might not suit their saviour complex they have about the islands.
