70%—•—regal’s earth day documentary was the sequel (not really) to Mountain which i watched like 2 weeks ago. this had a very similar feel but was definitely more environmental messages throughout. they definitely took a stance on some problems with rivers (especially dams), which led to some really beautiful shots. pacing was all over the place but that’s fine because 1. this is a documentary, 2. the score is amazing, and 3. willem dafoe returns to narrate. i think i liked this one a bit more because it actually addressed environmental problems and gave a solution, but both are good.
