As a big White Day fan (I saw the playthrough of the 2017 remake when it came out, then became obsessed with it again in 2021), I remember the times when this movie was still in production and how excited I was for it. Because of that, I just don't have a heart to hate on it, even with all its flaws. Of course they overcomplicated the original story by adding those bullies (whose name I don't even remember now) and exorcism moments, and it's a shame that they never added most of the ghost encounters that made the game so creepy and authentic, but I was just so happy to see the characters I love being adapted, especially since their stories and tempers weren't butchered and they actually looked like their game counterparts! So yeah, it's probably not a good movie, but not that bad either.
