Was really excited to see this and it ended up being a bit of a let down.
Don’t know why everyone calls this a slasher cos it didn’t really feel like that. It’s more of a psychological horror, and I would have enjoyed this better if I was aware of that going in.
I think the film relies on dream fakeouts wayyy too much. I know it’s the 80s but it was still really annoying. This is probably my only other issue, but it ruined the experience a lot for me.
I love the protagonist and the other characters. They’re complex. The twists are also really good.
