The "He's right behind me isn't he?" in this film was so funny, though one of the few good things in this film.

Bernie is such a stud 🤩 Kills were entertaining, antics with the goofy characters like Bobby and Regis kept things from getting boring

well i was on my annual hunt for some underrated slasher films from the 1980s and i have to say that i went into this one thinking it was gonna be one of those it’s so bad it’s amazing films but i was completely wrong because this one was just terrible all around like i’d first want to say that the story in this one wasn’t anything new being brought to us it was your standard crazed lunatic is on the loose and chopping up people left and right which is pretty much how every single slasher film goes so i didn’t seem to care or be interested in the story all too much and then moving on to our supposed characters that we’re supposed to care about for the remainder of the film but none of them were given any likeable traits to them and were very flat characters with no kind of personalities at all like how am i supposed to root for any of them when you couldn’t even make one atleast interesting which so many films back then did so much when it came to characters in their films that it almost had me rooting for the killer to knock them all off but i’ll say that the one character i did like was the final girl in this one even though the killer of the film left the poor girl so traumatized at the end that she went insane which was like she lived but at what cost? and then lastly we come to the deaths in this one and i’ve got to say that they were such let downs for me like the man was carrying around a axe and yall couldn’t have given him some very unique and grotesque sequences with him using it on the victims like what were these one and down stabs with the axe like the kills are what i look for in a horror film because if you’re not gonna have a great plot atleast make up for it with giving the audience some gnarly death sequences 🤷♂️
