You can tell that things are being set up for the final few episodes, and that's really exciting. It's wild that this is doing some of the best faux documentary horror I've ever seen and it's clearly working with such a low budget too.
The crux of this episode is an exorcism of a demonic spirit from main character Miho Ichikawa. Really original approach to an overdone trope in the way that they handle it too. Can't wait to see where this goes!

**The plot is thickening

We finally got some clue of what has started happening in the four movies before. We also got revealed that most of the terrifying things we saw until now were the manifestation of what the human mind can create, through the belief in a legend (kinda like the devils of Chainsaw Man that are born from the fear of humans)

In this 5th movie, the Poltergeist element was the more relevant. We no longer need a Replay to see the caotic things that happen around the crew. Other worlds, rotating doors and lots of screams interrupting an exorcism.

Along Kudo's anger issues, we got Ichikawa dealing with the Oiwa's ghost and ... an ancient deity. Tashiro, respecting in his role as Cameraman, is nearly untouchable.

The Hair Amulet makes its apparition here as well, and for a brief moment we could even see the Kuchisake-Onna's face, while traveling through the lovecraftian tentacle dimension.

Makabe is simply the MVP, dealing with ghosts and gods even while dead. And now, we have another member in the crew, the Overly Stressed Exorcist Uriyin Dogen.
