it’s clear that rudolph valentino holds tremendous screen presence and it’s obvious why he was so big in the twenties. however, his acting does not make up for the garbage fire is this movie actually is. it’s sexist and condescending, and we come to find out that at his core, ahmed is literally a rapist and somehow the titular character of this film. not to mention it’s boring and also really racially insensitive….kind of a really icky production. did not enjoy it whatsoever.
