Recently I remembered I was subscribed to the Gizmoplex (the streaming service for MST3K) and I’m behind on the latest season. Time to get on that.
I’m kinda disappointed in the lack of Captain Spaulding jokes in a Sid Haig movie.

This movie is still utterly bonkers and I still get the image of the creepy fucking Atlanteans with their weird prosthetic faces out of my head. Ew.
Emily is a great addition to the Mst3k cast tho and this is a great intro to her.

A weird movie that makes little to no sense. That being said it’s got some delightfully weird choices that are truly something to behold. The whole movie goes by and I still can’t get over the weird eyes for the Atlanteans. That alone makes me have to give it an extra star. But most of it is all so confusing it isn’t worth remembering.
Makes for a great Mst3k episode though (S13E3)!
