Not really one of the strongest Shaw Brothers movies but it still blows my mind on how great the restorations are for these films. It’s definitely obvious how rushed the production was for this movie because it wasn’t written as well and many shots looked like they just wanted to finish it in one take. As I understand that Shaw Brothers have been releasing 30 movies a year but this one clearly shows that they didn’t give a crap. The only saving grace is how the film is portrayed visually.
