i've been waiting for this movie for god knows how many years, and it's just not what i expected at all. and i don't think it's my fault either, i just think it was falsely advertised.
was it ever really a qpr or were they so immature and codependent that separating from each other would mean they'd have grown up? neither romantic nor platonic doesn't always equal qpr, they always romantically liked each other even when they've been broken up, they were just way too childish to communicate it properly.
it's not a bad movie at all, no, there were scenes that i really related to. and i'm glad more ace rep exists in media but god, this was not what you people said it was.
