ok so this was a mess BUT tom waits is so out of character (and overacting) that i couldn't help but have a good time watching him. also his outfits are so stylish. as for the movie it had the potential to be pretty ok, but it doesn't feel like it knows what kind of movie it wants to be. also a small surprise appearance by young jeff bridges.
