The third entry of the Sister Street Fighter series definitely brings the flaws of these films to light. While still very entertaining the formula of “find this person, save them from evil drug/diamond/gold kingpin” loses its steam after you see it 3 times in a row. This entry is obviously very Enter the Dragon inspired, from the villain with a prosthetic to the male lead doing his best Bruce Lee impression. These changes definitely give this one an even campier tone than previous entries, which would be fine is they didn’t completely tone down the violence for this entry. Hanging by a Thread wasn’t at hilariously gory as the original, but it had its moments. Here we’ve got nothing, just standard, decent action. It’s ok.
