while watching the original film, at the point where ayako is surrounded by the millions of pebbles that she painstakingly lined the railroad track with, i was literally thinking to myself “there was probably like an entire team that just spent an hour or two putting these rocks everywhere” and it was cool to have my suspicions confirmed and see them doing it here, lol. also so cool seeing hideaki anno and shunji iwai together
