By no means magnificent, this underrated historical fiction is worth a watch. Ghost-directed by Orson Welles, he cuts through the pulpy B-movie that is the majority of the picture with wit and some truly stunning cinematography through his performance on camera and off, not to discredit Ratoff.
Cheesy, but full of some true magic.
