The film doesn't offer us anything new. It is lazily written with dialogues that seem as if it is taken from every masala film that you have ever seen. The attempt at comedy is futile. Many jokes satirise Gen-Z, which doesn't feel authentic, but rather an old man's perception of Gen-Z culture. There are also two flashback sequences, which easily could have been summarized within a sentence. It just wastes our time and nothing more.

Rakesh and Firoz are supposed to be some buddy cop duo, but the painful material handed over to them makes it an unfunny affair. It doesn't help that the actors themselves fail to bring their characters onscreen.

Akshay Kumar wants to be anywhere else but here, putting little to no effort in the film. Tiger Shroff feels like a poorly rendered NPC, whose one-liners are painful. Alaya F as Pam puts more personality into her character than all the other seasoned actors combined.
